The past and present

Working on embedded system has always been my wildest dream. Working on embedded Linux in specific makes it wilder. Embedded system is targeted to be compact and sleek, fast and efficient in no less elegant manner. But on the trade off, you got less tools at your disposal, often resort in tedious process to build things - cross compiling. This is very much expected and long to have been practiced.

The only concern is, when you were bounded by tight schedule cycle, you might want to look at more faster way. My ultimate goal is to build the embedded Linux distro with complete toolchain so that cross compiling could be avoided.

I was supposed busy reading the text but suddenly I realized I was already at youtube watching AJ McLean in Oprah Winfrey show telling the world how he got rehabilitate from the things he has been doing. Then the other boys showed up to give their support. I was touched not by the bond they possess but mainly because I grew up listening to their songs. Put aside their harmonious vocal. If you grew up in the late 90's, in the era of boy bands and girl groups, where magazine like Max and *Smash Hits selling like hot cakes, and Lil Kev - Fly Guy were Morning Crew at Hitz FM ; it is unavoidable to not listen to their music, especially for a group like BSB, regarded as one of the most successful boy band in history with 75 million album sold worldwide. They were phenomenal, 10 years ago. Few of their songs associates with my memories directly or indirectly. Different song linked to different subject but summed up to one single thing, reminds me of the good old days - where tears and laughters, hopes and dreams culminate in exquisite sublime account.

Hope

Hope. Is the word that should keep us going. Through trials and tribulations. Through memories and dreams. Through sadness and despairs. Everything. Because just like Andy said - hope is the best of things!

Only to Allah, we should seek to give our every hope.
